1. Introduction

Block Bard Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates mobile games and applications available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App Store). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use any of our mobile applications (collectively, the "Games").

By downloading, installing, or using our Games, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not access or use our Games.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

a) Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as advertising ID), language, and time zone.
Usage Data: Game progress, session duration, in-game actions, feature usage, crash logs, and performance data.
IP Address: Your IP address may be collected for analytics and fraud prevention purposes.

b) Information You Provide

Account Information: If you create an account or sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Google Play Games), we may receive your display name and profile identifier.
Support Requests: If you contact us for support, we may collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.

c) Information from Third-Party Services

Our Games may use third-party services such as Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Ads, and similar services. Supported Android games also offer optional TikTok ad measurement, described in Section 5a. These services may collect information used to identify you. Please refer to the privacy policies of these third-party service providers for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain our Games
To improve, personalize, and expand our Games
To understand and analyze how you use our Games
To develop new products, services, features, and functionality
To display advertisements, including personalized ads
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
To communicate with you, including for customer support
To comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

Our Games may contain links to or integrate with third-party services that are not operated by us. We use the following types of third-party services:

Advertising: Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or similar ad networks to display ads within our Games. These services may use cookies, device identifiers, and other tracking technologies to serve personalized advertisements.
Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase, or similar analytics tools to understand user behavior, measure performance, and improve our Games.
Optional Ad Measurement: TikTok, subject to the regional defaults and privacy choices described below, to attribute installs and activity to advertisements and measure campaign performance. See Section 5a.
Cloud Services: Google Play Games Services, Apple Game Center, or Firebase for cloud saves, leaderboards, and achievements.

5. Advertising

Our Games may display ads provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may use your advertising identifier and other device information to serve ads that are relevant to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

5a. Optional TikTok Ad Measurement

Ad measurement is optional and never required to play. Starting with Block Realms 1.0.6 (9), Tiny Hotel 1.0.6 (15), Glow Garden 1.0.6 (13), and Bridge Buddies 1.0.6 (15), measurement is on by default for eligible US users of these general-audience games. Version 1.0.6 displays a first-use notice. Starting with Block Realms 1.0.7 (10), Tiny Hotel 1.0.7 (16), Glow Garden 1.0.7 (14), and Bridge Buddies 1.0.7 (16), eligible US users manage measurement in Settings → Privacy choices without a separate TikTok startup prompt. That section explains the data sharing and provides a TikTok ad measurement switch, a privacy-policy link, and a Do not sell or share with TikTok action. Turning sharing off takes effect without a confirmation dialog and does not affect gameplay.

US eligibility uses Android's current mobile-network and SIM country signals on the device, together with available device advertising restrictions and privacy choices. We do not request GPS location or send the country signals to a separate geolocation service. Non-US, missing, conflicting, or restricted signals do not qualify for the US default. Outside this default, players who confirm they are 18 or older can explicitly allow measurement through the privacy notice or Settings before the TikTok SDK starts. Earlier versions and Fleece & Fence, Forest Camp, and Leapdoku retain explicit opt-in. Starting with Wardlight 1.0.3 (4), our adult-audience Android game also uses the eligible-US default described above, with controls in Settings → Privacy choices and no separate TikTok startup prompt for eligible US users. Non-US and unknown-region users receive an optional adult opt-in choice. Earlier unconfigured Wardlight versions do not send TikTok measurement data.

A previous refusal is preserved across updates. An automatic US default is not stored as your affirmative consent. We recheck eligibility on launch and resume and honor supported device advertising restrictions, US privacy opt-outs (including applicable GPP/GPC signals), and known child-related restrictions. We do not knowingly send children's data to TikTok. Where measurement cannot be enabled automatically, gameplay remains available.

When measurement is enabled, the app sends TikTok information about:

App installs and opens, tutorial completion, puzzle completion and level progress.
Purchases, including product, transaction identifier, amount and currency.
Revenue from rewarded and interstitial advertising, including amount, currency, ad format and advertising network.

The SDK also receives advertising identifiers, app and device information, and your IP address. IP addresses may reveal an approximate location. This information helps us attribute installs and activity to advertisements, measure campaign performance and improve advertising.

You can withdraw your choice using Settings → TikTok ad measurement. Withdrawal stops new event collection and new requests from this integration and clears its pending event queue. A request already in progress may finish. Withdrawal does not delete information already received by TikTok. If you choose to allow sharing again after withdrawing, restart the app to activate the new choice. This setting controls TikTok only; other analytics and advertising controls remain available. Applicable advertising privacy restrictions also take priority over this switch.

This integration does not send us or TikTok your payment card details, contact list, phone number, email address or precise GPS location. For questions or privacy requests, contact info@gridlox.gg.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing device and activity information with advertising partners may be considered a sale or sharing for targeted advertising under applicable US state privacy laws. You can opt out of TikTok sharing as described in Section 5a. We may also disclose information in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (analytics, advertising, cloud hosting).
For Legal Reasons: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
With Your Consent: When you give us explicit permission to share your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymize it.

8. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Games are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information.
Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising or data processing for certain purposes.
Portability: Request a portable copy of your data in a structured format.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our Games, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

Your continued use of our Games after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
